STAMPIN' UP

I got such a lovely surprise today, my first ever package of goodies from Stampin' Up arrived. I was so excited to open the box. I got my first ever Stampin' up ink pads and stamps so I could not resist doing a card. Just a simple one I knocked up this afternoon while my daughter was at dancing. This range of papers from stampin' up is gorgeous - one of my favourites.

 

  The range is called Haiku and it has the most glorious greens and oranges. Can't wait to buy some of the other ranges, if they are nice as this one I will be very happy!

I have been having some problems with my neck which is why I have not been scrapping lately. At the moment my neck lasts just long enough to do a card then I have to rest it. Hopefully it starts to improve because I am dying to get back into some scrapbooking. Thanks for stopping by and thank you for your comments they are appreciated.

JUST BECAUSE

Here is another card - "Just Because"

I love orange it is such a warm colour. I have used bazzill cardstock, American Crafts papers, Kaisercraft rub ons, Kaisercraft bling, Tim Holtz distress ink & ribbon.

With Love

I have made a new card today using Bo Bunny Shabby Princess papers (an oldie but a goodie), scrapbooking Australia (2005) Olive green wildflowers & bazzill cardstock. Kaisercraft pearls, Fiskars border punch and sewing thread & machine.

 

 

I love the colours in these papers so when I spotted them in my stash I could not resist using them. I guess you could call it vintage because the papers have been around for a few years. I love it can't wait to give it away.

Some cards & a free workshop

I haven't done a lot of scrapping lately, too busy with life & dancing. This weekend is free for me so I have decided to make a few quick cards. I also signed up a little while ago for a workshop at Kim Archer's website to do a "Draw Me Please" workshop. While I actually haven't completed that particular project, I did decided to do a free workshop that Kim offers on her site Here . This is the page that I made.

MY TINY DANCER

I am sorry but I just had to post these photos of my daughter that I took on the weekend, they were taken at her dance schools annual showcase. She is doing a demi character ballet solo (the little matchstick girl), and just caught her at the right time I guess. I LOVE IT !

I love this one as she has been working really hard on her acting for this piece. Oscar material I think LOL!!!

My Sparkling Diamond

This is a page I did a while ago but I had to send it away as it was a finalist in a competition, while I didn't win I was so excited that it made it to the finals. As you know you don't ever do these pages to win comps, but when someone recognises your efforts it is an awesome feeling. I glued sequins on in  a swirly design so as to add a little bling to my page. I LOVE BLING!!!! There isn't many pages that I do that don't have bling.

I wanted to do a simple page for this image because I wanted the picture to be the main focus. I was really happy with the result and I love this pic of my baby girl ! I know I am biased but I think she is a stunner!

KITTY KAT

I have been so busy getting my daughter ready for all her dancing competitions, (so much sewing), that I have hardly anytime for blogging. I have been scrapping madly but unfortunatley I can't show any at this time. Sometimes there is just not enough hours in the day, if only we did't need to sleep. Can you IMAGINE how much we would get done!

I do however have a page that I completed a month ago for a competition which didn't make the final cut so now I can post it. It is done in the Kaisercraft range "Lovestruck". I just love this range, the colours are amazing! I actually entered 2 pages in the competition and 1 was selected as a finalist so while I didn't win I am hoping it will be published in Scrapbooking Memories magazine. It is so exciting to see your work published.  My page is about my cute little niece. I hope you like it.
